I am the Managing Director of Mark Carr Associates, and the founder of the business. I began my career with the Co-operative Insurance Society Ltd (CIS) in 1996, and spent many years learning about Financial and Insurance services and working in various departments of the business. Having qualified as a Financial Adviser in 2003, I relocated to Nottingham where I went on to serve the financial needs of my CIS customers offering advice on Investments through to Home Insurance.
In 2005 I decided to leave the Co-operative Insurance Society Ltd (CIS) to join Great British Finance Limited where I developed my skills further as an Independent Financial Adviser.
I continued to work with Great British Finance Limited, however in the summer of 2007 Mark Carr Associates was created as I wanted to develop my own company identity that reflected my personality and vision for the future.
I am a qualified Independent Financial Adviser and my expertise covers the areas of investments, pensions, mortgages and protection for both individuals and businesses. I am a member of the Personal Finance Society (PFS) and am currently undertaking further studies towards increasing my qualifications which will be required in the future.
I am married with two daughters and enjoy reading, travelling, and sports in particular football, cricket and golf.
